The Inn is such a special spot. Right by the river, you're sure to hear the rush of the stream and frogs from dusk onward. With starlit canopies and twinkle lights all around, it certainly provides a magical atmosphere. Even stepping down into the dining area is special, descending the old stone staircase and getting your first glimpse at the pavilion overhead. It's very tranquil! We dined on the patio, where we got to see a proposal (!), a birthday dinner, and an anniversary being celebrated. Clearly, the unique atmosphere and vibes are felt among the many. It's worth reading into the Inn's history, which is fascinating, but the ethical sourcing of ingredients is pretty special, too. The ingredients shine in the food, with simple flavors elevated and a lot of freshness packed into every bite. The Inn is such a special place, it's worth visiting if only for the atmosphere, but you won't regret a meal here for a special occasion.

Very interesting spot for a restaurant nestled within the trees, like you entered some kind of fantasy movie. We made reservations for 6pm in June and that was a really nice time to be eating out here, with plenty of natural lighting throughout the night. They have covering so the leaves don't get to you and there weren't any mosquitos as far as I could tell. My boyfriend and I ordered a tuna crudo to start, which was very well balanced with the mint. For our main course, I had the maine diver scallops which were very tender. My boyfriend's chicken dish had a bit of a mix-up since he got the wrong order served to him and the restaurant very kindly made up for it with dessert on the house. We got the lemon tart, which was very rich but also not overly heavy with the citrus bits on top. Overall, a nice date night spot. Note valet only. Bring cash - $9 charge.

Pro: beautiful restaurant, tasty food, amazing staff. I am completely in awe of this restaurant! I stumbled here with a friend by chance and it exceeded my expectations. First, the restaurant itself is stunning. We sat next to the river and were orchestrated by local frogs in the evening. They have multiple nooks, however, I recommend requesting a seat in the lower river are. Second, the staff was very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. So our original plan was to hike in the area but the trail was closed so we ended up eating here! We were in full workout attire and I was hesitant to eat here given how nice it looked! However, the staff made us feel welcomed from the first minute and I felt at home. They did not hesitate to seat us in our requested area and were accommodating throughout our stay. They gave us excellent food recommendations and there is even a sommelier who helped us pair our meal with wine. It is a bit on the pricy side and would recommend for a special occasion. Food: everything was so good! We started off with bread and fennel butter made in house. We devoured it, would definitely recommend. The rigatoni and risotto were cooked to perfection, excellent potions, and flavorful. The bread pudding was nice and warm, just the right level of sweet. The wine recommended by the sommelier paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, this experience was worth the price point and I would definitely come back. I would consider perhaps hosting an event here in the future!

Went for anniversary dinner. We got the house bread, octopus, brussel sprouts, filet and short rib. My favorite was the Brussel sprouts. Very flavorful and good portion. The octopus was tender and cooked perfectly. The filet was a bit over cooked. The short rib was a bit bland. They have a small cocktail list but mostly wines. The view was very nice. We were able to sit by the water. They turn on the lights after the sun went down and that was romantic. When the sun goes down the frogs start singing. We didn't mind it at all and felt like white noise but it can get pretty loud. Service was okay. You get a main waiter and a waiter's assistant. Not exactly sure what the assistant's job was. Although the assistant was a lot friendlier than our actual waiter. Valet parking only. We drove from LA. The mountain road is very dark with lots of curves. There are no lights. But I guess the locals are used to it so they drive real fast and start honking if you're going at the speed limit. So be careful. It does get kinda chilly. They try their best with all the heat lamps. They do have plastic covers if it rains but not sure how much cover they actually provide.

I'm giving it 4 stars because everything was great but idk how it is at night although I hear great things about it. I got the brocollini omelette with the potatoes and small salad. It was very good especially the potatoes. We also ordered the Lavendar mimosas which were good, the Lavendar wasn't that strong. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. The ambiance is beautiful and we sat by the creek. It was nice and relaxing. Wasn't difficult to find parking because no one was really there at that time.
